Dr. Cindy Ticknor began serving as the Director in the Fall of 2009, and currently
serves as the Dean of the Honors College. She is also a Professor of Mathematics Education
in the department of Mathematics and Philosophy and has been a leader in Science,
Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) Education. Since arriving at 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× in
2003, she has received over $2.5 million in grants to support STEM initiatives and
has served as the Associate Dean of the College of Science. She holds degrees from
the University of Maryland, 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×, and Auburn University.
